Middle East Organic and Natural Products Expo is proud of the success
Organic and Natural Products Expo 2018 is Middle East’s unique and largest event dedicated to all things natural, organic and healthy. Since its inception in 2003, the expo has continued to grow each year as a true reflection of the market growth. Key market segments represented by at the expo spanned across Food & Beverages, Beauty, Health, Living and Environment.
The 16th edition of the event was a resounding success with 7332 trade buyers (a 22% increase from 2017) visiting the exhibition halls over three days to meet and source from 225 exhibitors from 55 countries.
The 3-day event bolstered connections between the international suppliers with regional buyers, leading to partnerships and business agreements aided by specialized initiatives such as the O2O Connect platform, ArabianOrganics (the online B2B portal), VIP buyer program and Pre-scheduled meetings.
Ideas and knowledge were exchanged, natural and organic food tasted, health and beauty products tested and experienced – across halls 7 and 8 of the Dubai World Trade Centre- making the Middle East Organic and Natural Products Expo the biggest gathering of organic and natural products in the MENA region.
The expo also marked participation from top producing countries in the form of 13 country pavilions including China, Poland and UK who made their debut into the Middle Eastern bio market at the event. It also welcomed back India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Turkey, Armenia, Romania, Ghana etc., strengthening the expo’s positioning as the only international sourcing platform for the regional Organic and natural market.
Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (TCAM) CONFERENCE
The one-day conference for Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine featured presentations, panel discussions and interactive sessions on key topics in the industry such as the innovations in the field and its future in the Middle East.
It brought together 150 attendees, each of whom received 6 CME points at the end of the conference and consisted of 14 sessions held throughout the day by 16 international speakers and experts in academia, research and regulations.
ORGANIC INDUSTRY CONFERENCE
The second and third day of the expo saw an organic conference that covered a wide range of topics, with no less than 5 panel discussions with industry leaders that engaged the audience in topics as varied as organic beauty opportunities in the region, to the importance of engaging the community in sustainable development. All 14 sessions of the conference saw a high level of engagement from its audience; with a powerful discussion on empowering women through agribusinesses and experts passionately arguing about the trends in organic retail being the highlights.
